Cranberry Water “detox”
Cranberry Water Detox!
This is great all the time, but especially after a day of "not-so-healthy" eating, (or a weekend, heaven forbid!)
Daily Intake: 8 glasses per day.
Purpose: The cranberry juice-water mixture eliminates water retention, cleanses accumulated wastes from the lymphatic system, and also helps to clean up cellulite
How to: To prepare cranberry water, purchase Knudsen’s, Trader Joe’s, or Mountain Sun’s (or other brand if you can find it) Unsweetened Cranberry Juice. Then get two empty 32-ounce bottles. Fill each 32-ounce water bottle with 4 ounces of unsweetened cranberry juice and 28 ounces of water. (so the ratio is 4 parts water to 2 parts cranberry juice)
Drink throughout the day
Buy only unsweetened cranberry juice – not the no-sugar-added kind. Such brands could contain corn syrup or aspartame.
